Achille Boswell is the co-founder of Alacritas Innovations. Growing up alongside his father, Carl, Achille developed an early love for the sport and quickly became a skilled marksman in his own right. With numerous national and international awards under his belt, Achille has become dedicated to the craft.
Achille’s approach to shooting is rooted in a meticulous attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement. This philosophy extends into his work at Alacritas Innovations.

One of our flagship products, the Fortis rear rest, has evolved through a series of refinements and is now a commercially viable product. Born from necessity, it’s the result of countless hours spent on the range and in the field, perfecting solutions for the most demanding conditions.
Founded by a father-son duo, Achille and Carl, with over 50 years of combined shooting experience and numerous national and international championships ‘under our belt’, we bring a deep understanding of the sport.
We are still active riflemen, competing for over a decade, and we know firsthand the challenges of shooting in real-world conditions. It’s in these moments, on top of a hill, in foul weather, aiming at sub half-inch targets across varying distances—that the Fortis was truly born. At Alacritas Innovations, we don’t just design for precision, we live it.
