The Fortis Micro Adjustable Rear Rest is a precision rear shooting bag for shooters who need to hold zero at distance.
Like its partner, the fixed cradle, the micro adjustable has coarse adjustment via the position of the legs, which provides shooters a stable, repeatable rear support without the bulk of a traditional sand-filled bag.
Additionally, micro fine elevation adjustment is achievable via a mariner’s wheel under the stock. Therefore, your rifle settles into the same position every time. This is the kind of consistency achieved in benchrest, F-Class and PRS, where shooters rely on a good rear ‘bag’ or rest in the prone or bench position.
All Fortis rear rests provide enhanced linear recoil tracking, tested and proven over time and continued development.
Manufactured in the UK from CNC-machined acetal copolymer, the Fortis is less than half the weight of a typical sand-filled competition rear bag. Therefore:

The ‘ear’ distance on standard bags will accommodate stocks between 18 and 25mm.
The ‘ear’ distance will accommodate bag riders of 25mm. Wide and narrow bags can be ordered to accommodate 30mm bag riders and the ELR 0.850” LSP ABR. (Lead time is 7 days for this custom order, so email us to request this with your order.)
The Fortis standard bags and base are made from durable nylon fabrics’. (These can be upgraded on the website to low friction bags).
The bag fill is a lamination of lightweight materials that allows smooth recoil and will return to form easily, unlike traditional sand based supports.
