The Fortis Micro Adjustable Rear Rest (Patent Pending), is a marvel in modern shooting development. Designed with the shooter in mind, The Fortis allows shooters to have maximum adjustability in the blink of an eye. Manufactured using acetal copolymer, by engineers here in the UK. Masters in their craft with years of experience, our engineers produce the Fortis line of rear rests to the highest quality with shooters in mind.
Being 160% lighter than traditional rear bags, the Fortis allows shooters to scale down their kit bag to only having one rear rest/ bag. Gone are the days of having to carry multiple bags for multiple heights, or a bag of bags. The Fortis allows shooters to adjust legs between 90mm at the lowest point (floor to base bag) and a suggested 160mm at the highest position (floor to base bag).
The Fortis Micro Adjustable Rear Rest has an additional 10mm of ‘fine’ height adjustment (suggested maximum height), via the mariners wheel.
Much like its younger siblings, The Fortis Micro Adjustable Rear Rest has coarse adjustment from the leg mechanism allowing quick and general adjustment. The Micro Adjustable feature of this model allows the finer tuning when it really matters. With 10mm of travel in the head unit alone, the difference between missing your shot and hearing that ring of steel has never been easier.

- The Fortis standard bags and base are made from durable nylon fabrics’. (These can be upgraded on the website to low friction bags).

Reviews
I'm returning to target shooting after a 30-year break and my skills are pretty rusty. The Fortis Rear Rest held the bi-pod rifle steady for a stable sight picture and allowed me to concentrate on re-establishing basics. Only 2nd time out with the rifle (1st time with the rest), I shot several 0.7 and 0.8 MOA groups. I don't intend to use the rest for ever, just for sighting in and familiarisation of a new rifle. The only negative is that the device is a bit pricey, esp. when converting to AUD.
This is the second rear rest from Alacritas and I use it for many different applications not just Long range field use. I also use for conformation of zero or any offset that maybe required to be entered into my ballistics.

Finally no more plumping up sand bags, total game changer, in both lateral and vertical stability. Instant results on target.....600 yard 5 shot group under 0.25 MOA
Great bit of kit
Accuracy international in 308 and normally using a rear bag or monopod , every shot requires a full reset when shooting from a trench at Catterick ranges . Bought the micro adjustable rest and what a difference it made . Used the monopod folded up and had an instant reduction
in group size and an easy return to sight picture . Half inch five shot groups are now ten shot groups for half inch .
My shooting mate was so impressed he ordered one for himself the following week. Fully recommend it
